The Two People Filming It
We know what your wedding day feels like from the inside.
We’re David and Mycheal — husband and wife, based in North Carolina, in our third year of filming weddings together. Twenty-two so far. We’ve had our own day run away from us, so we know which parts you’ll want back, and which ones you’d never know happened unless somebody was standing there.

Before You Compare Quotes
There are good videographers and there are $1,000 videographers. This isn't a knock on anyone doing the work properly, but the real gap between two quotes isn't just the day rate. You only get one shot at a videographer so it's worth knowing what you are actually comparing before you decide.
You & D3 Cinema
A married pair who have stood where you are standing, in two rooms at once, never booking a second wedding against yours.
The tools films are made with, and professional audio that captures your day like a real movie.
We don’t restage moments or move you to a better wall. Most of your guests won’t notice us working at all.
Our packages and pricing are provided up-front. We are not going to work out what you can afford before we tell you what it costs.
See your special day in just a week after it's over.
Archived on redundant storage for as long as we exist. Ten years from now we can still cut you something new on request.
The OTHER Quote
One camera has to pick a room. Whatever happened in the other one is simply gone.
A photo body shooting video, and vows recorded from twenty feet away. And nothing ruins good film faster than bad audio.
“Can you two walk back and do that again?” — on your wedding day.
No price anywhere, and teams who will hike the price just because you're willing to pay it.
No date, and no recourse if it slips.
Storage costs money. For a $1,000 videographer it is the first thing to go.

The part he doesn’t get to see

The part he doesn’t get to see
Coverage starts four hours before the ceremony. Someone is steaming a dress, your mom is trying not to start crying this early, and your sister says the thing she has been saving up. He is not in this room and never will be. Couples tell us this is the footage they rewatch most.
Where we are
Mycheal is in the room with you. David is with him, wherever he is getting ready. Two of us means neither morning gets missed.
2:30 PM
The first look

The first look
We do not stage this and we will not ask you to walk it back for a second take. We stand well back on a long lens and let it happen, because the version where you are thinking about the camera is not worth keeping.
Where we are
Two angles, both on prime lenses. One on his face, one on yours. Neither of us in your eyeline.
4:00 PM
The vows, with a mic on them

The vows, with a mic on them
You spend weeks writing these. In most wedding videos they end up as background noise under a song. A year from now you'll want to hear what you actually said.
Where we are
A mic on him, a mic on the officiant, a recorder on anyone doing a reading. Wide on the aisle, tight on faces.
4:40 PM
Married, and straight back down the aisle

Married, and straight back down the aisle
About forty seconds long and the loudest you will be all day. This is the clip that goes out to everyone you could not fit in the room. Your ceremony has a guest limit, but your wedding film doesn't.
Where we are
One of us walking backwards ahead of you. The other holding on the room, because half the shot is the people watching you.
5:30 PM
Twenty minutes that are only yours

Twenty minutes that are only yours
The one stretch of the day with nobody else in it. Most couples try to give it back so they can return to their guests. Take it. This is where the drone goes up and where the frames you end up hanging come from.
Where we are
FAA-licensed drone in the air if the venue allows it. If not, we stay on the ground and out of your way.
7:00 PM
The toasts

The toasts
Someone is going to say something about you that you would never otherwise hear, and half the room will miss it over the music and the plates. Now you can play it back whenever you want.
Where we are
Mic on whoever is speaking, and one of us stays on your face. The reaction is usually the shot.
8:45 PM
The last song

The last song
If the party is still rolling, so is the camera. These are the fun moments you might've otherwise never seen at all.
Where we are
Standard coverage runs 8 hours. If you need more time then that, just let us know during our consultation.

“David went above and beyond creating an everlasting moment and experience from set up of the proposal, through the shoot, and finally the production.
His communication was very clear and thorough through the whole process. We are so pleased with the time and work he put in and we cannot wait to share this memory forever with family and friends now and in the future.
Thank you David!”

★★★★★
“I couldn’t envision anyone more perfect to work with for my wife’s and I special day. David was incredible to work with and started out having a meeting with us asking about our vision for the wedding, details about the venue, arrival schedules, everything. Him and his wife make a intangible pairing, being able to capture all aspects of our wedding with drone shots, videography and photography. We will be definitely hiring him again when future life endeavors arrive.”

In Every Film
This is what the two of us bring to every wedding. None of it is an add-on.
David and Mycheal, both there, all day. Making sure every moment is captured, including the ones happening in the room you’re not in.
Unlike other videographers, we do not use hybrid photo bodies with a video mode. Our primes are coated for a single focal length. This is a big part of why a film looks like a film, and why your special day will look like one too.
Professional audio on everyone who speaks, so the words survive as well as the pictures.
FAA-licensed. Aerials of your venue, flown legally, wherever the venue allows it.
A short film to send round while everyone is excited to see it.
The story of the whole day, getting ready to last dance, cut into a real film. This is not a montage with music behind it. We believe your love story should be immortalized through our lens.
Every frame of your day archived and kept safe forever, for as long as we exist.

Years From Now
You’ll be able to show them instead of describing it. Some of the people in the frame won’t be there to tell it themselves by then, and your kids will watch it the way you looked through your parents’ wedding photos.
That is the part of this that isn’t really about video.
Meet Us First
We’ll show you our films, walk through the packages and answer every question. No pressure, just films.
