Most couples find us after the venue, the photographer and the budget are already spoken for. Whatever stage you're at in planning your special day, you've found us before it's too late. "The day goes by in a blur." Every couple we have filmed says some version of that in just weeks after the big day. Photographs are important... The Two People Filming It
We’ve been the bride and the groom. We know how to tell your story and have fun doing it.
We’re David and Mycheal. Married, based in North Carolina, and we film weddings together. We’ve had our own day run away from us, so we know which parts you’ll want back, and which ones you’d never know happened unless somebody was standing there to capture it.
We’re not going to pull you aside to cry by a better wall or hold up the ceremony to get a different angle. We believe your videographer should be the best behaved guest at your wedding. We’re the two at the back of the room, smiling, staying out of it, catching the thing that just happened behind you.

Coverage starts four hours before the ceremony. Someone is steaming a dress, your mom is trying not to start crying this early, and your sister says the thing she has been saving up. He is not in this room and never will be. Couples tell us this is the footage they rewatch most.
Where we are
Mycheal is in the room with you. David is with him, wherever he is getting ready. Two of us means neither morning gets missed.

We do not stage this and we will not ask you to walk it back for a second take. We stand well back on a long lens and let it happen, because the version where you are thinking about the camera is not worth keeping.

You spend weeks writing these. In most wedding videos they end up as background noise under a song. A year from now you'll want to hear what you actually said.

About forty seconds long and the loudest you will be all day. This is the clip that goes out to everyone you could not fit in the room. Your ceremony has a guest limit, but your wedding film doesn't.

The one stretch of the day with nobody else in it. Most couples try to give it back so they can return to their guests. Take it. This is where the drone goes up and where the frames you end up hanging come from.

FAA-licensed drone in the air if the venue allows it. If not, we stay on the ground and out of your way.

Someone is going to say something about you that you would never otherwise hear, and half the room will miss it over the music and the plates. Now you can play it back whenever you want.

Mic on whoever is speaking, and one of us stays on your face. The reaction is usually the shot.

The Investment
Films start at $3,500, and here is exactly what is in that.
Most studios won’t put a number on a page. You’ve already been quoted enough prices that went up the moment you said the word wedding. All seven of these are in every film we deliver, whichever package you choose.
01Two filmmakers, every wedding
David and Mycheal, both there, all day. Making sure every moment is captured, including the ones happening in the room you’re not in.
02Cinema cameras and prime lenses
Unlike other videographers, we do not use hybrid photo bodies with a video mode. Our primes are coated for a single focal length. This is a big part of why a film looks like a film, and why your special day will look like one too.
03Vows, readings and toasts on a mic
Professional audio on everyone who speaks, so the words survive as well as the pictures.
04FAA-licensed drone coverage
A certified pilot with experience across different environments. Aerials of your venue, flown legally, by someone who is not going to put it in a tree or cause a distraction at your wedding.
05Trailer within 7 days
A short film to watch and send round while everyone is excited to see it..
06Your full feature film
The story of the whole day, getting ready to last dance, cut into a real film. This is not a montage with music behind it. We believe your love story should be immortalized through our lens.
07Every frame kept, permanently
All your raw footage archived on redundant storage forever. Your memories are never one dead hard drive away from gone. If you need your film 50 years from now, just ask. We'll still have a copy.

Storage costs money. For a $1,000 videographer it is the first thing to go.

You’ll be able to show them instead of describing it. Some of the people in the frame won’t be there to tell it themselves by then, and your kids will watch it the way you looked through your parents’ wedding photos. That is the part of this that isn’t really about video.

The questions we get every week.
We already booked our photographer. Is it too late for video?
No, and this is how most of our couples come to us. Photo is usually booked first. As long as the date is open we can still film it, and the two teams work alongside each other all day.
Why is this more than the quotes we’ve seen?
Two filmmakers instead of one, cinema lenses and mics rather than a hybrid camera, a licensed drone pilot, a trailer in a week, and your footage kept forever. Cheaper isn't better, especially when you only have one chance to get it right.
Can we just get the pricing without a call?
Yes. Send us the date and the full pricing comes back by email within one business day. If you want to talk after that, we will.
What if our budget is already spent?
Tell us anyway. Films start at $3,500, a 50% deposit holds the date and the balance isn’t due until the month of the wedding. A number of our couples had this gifted by family once they knew the number.
Will you be in the way?
No. We don’t direct your day or restage moments, and there are no lights in your face. Most guests do not notice us working, which is the whole point.
