This explains what we collect when you enquire about a wedding film, why we collect it, and how to make us stop. If anything here is unclear, ask us — we’d rather explain it than have you guess.
✦We collect what you type into our forms — your names, your date, your email and phone — and the usual web analytics.
✦We use it to answer you about your wedding date and, if you agree to it, to follow up.
✦We never sell your information, and your consent to be texted is never shared with anyone else for their marketing.
✦Reply STOP to any text, or email us, and we stop. No hard feelings and no hoops.
D3 Cinema is a husband-and-wife wedding film company based in Pembroke, North Carolina, filming weddings across the state. When this page says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means D3 Cinema. When it says “you”, it means anyone using d3cinema.com or contacting us through it.
What you give us. Your name or names, email address, phone number, wedding date, venue or city, and anything you write in a message field. If you book, we also hold what your service agreement and invoices contain.
What arrives with you. When you reach us from an ad or a search we receive the campaign details attached to that click — Google’s click identifier, Meta’s click identifier, and the source, medium, campaign and content tags on the link. We keep these so we know which ads are worth running.
What your browser reports. Pages viewed, time on the page, rough location from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site that sent you.
We do not ask for, and have no reason to hold, your financial account numbers. Deposits and balances are handled by a payment processor, not by this website.
To check whether your wedding date is available and reply to you. To send the information you asked for, arrange a consultation, and — if you book — to plan, deliver and support your film. To send follow-ups and offers, but only to people who ticked the box asking for them. To measure which ads and pages actually lead to conversations, and to keep the site working and secure.
We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not build profiles of you beyond what is needed to answer your enquiry and measure our own advertising.
Our forms have two separate boxes, and both start unticked.
The first is required: it confirms you agree to our Terms & Conditions. The second is for text messages only, and it is optional. Tick it only if you want texts from D3 Cinema about your inquiry, wedding date availability, booking updates, appointment reminders and occasional offers. Agreeing to texts is not required to submit a form, to get an answer from us, or to book.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help, or just tell us in a reply — a human reads them.
We do not share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with anyone else for their own marketing, and we never sell either. The only companies that touch your number are the ones that carry the message for us.
We send email about your enquiry and your booking, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You can also reply and ask, or email [email protected], and we’ll take you off everything. We don’t use misleading subject lines, and our address is on every commercial message.
This site uses cookies and similar tags to remember your session, measure traffic and tell whether an ad led to an enquiry. That includes Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, and it may include the Meta pixel.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may stop working smoothly if you do. You can also control how Google and Meta advertise to you directly, at Google Ad Settings and in your Facebook ad preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google’s browser add-on.
Only the companies that help us run the business, and only for that purpose: our customer-management platform (HighLevel), which stores your enquiry; the carriers and providers that deliver our email and text messages; Google and Meta for advertising measurement; the video platform we use for consultations; and our payment processor if you book.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights. That is the complete list. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we never have.
If you book us, your wedding film and the photographs from it are part of how we show our work — on this site, on social media and in ads. Your signed service agreement covers this, and you can ask us in writing not to publish your film or to take down something already published. We will honour it. Nobody has to be an example to have a film made.
Enquiries that never become bookings: up to three years, because couples come back and dates move. Bookings: seven years for the contract and financial records, which is what our accountant and the tax rules require. Your finished film: we archive it and will always try to get you a copy, but please keep your own — storage fails.
Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will, except for anything we are legally required to keep.
Your enquiry lives in a password-protected platform behind encrypted connections, reachable by exactly two people. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities promptly, and within seven business days of confirming it.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time without affecting our answer to your enquiry. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under state privacy law; we apply the same process to everyone who asks.
Email [email protected] with what you want done. We’ll confirm within a few days and complete it within 30. We won’t charge you or treat you differently for asking.
This site is for adults planning a wedding. We don’t market to children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we’ll delete it.
If this policy changes we’ll post the new version here and move the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will be sent to anyone on our list as well.
Email [email protected] or call (301) 875-8260. We’re two people, so it’s one of us who reads it.
