Wedding Videography in Raleigh, NC

Your Raleigh, NC wedding, filmed by the two of us.

A Raleigh wedding day rarely stays in one place. Getting ready downtown, a ceremony in a garden or an old Oakwood home, portraits with the skyline behind you at Dix Park, and a reception that runs until the last song. We’re there for all of it, and we film it like a movie, not a recording.

We’re David and Mychael, a husband-and-wife team based in North Carolina. Two filmmakers at every wedding, cinema cameras and prime lenses, every vow and toast fully mic’d, and an FAA-certified drone pilot for the shots from above.

Packages start at $3,500. Your 90-second trailer arrives within seven days, the full film follows, and every frame is archived and kept safe forever.

Thank you David!”

David was incredible to work with and started out having a meeting with us asking about our vision for the wedding, details about the venue, arrival schedules, everything. Him and his wife make a intangible pairing, being able to capture all aspects of our wedding with drone shots, videography and photography. David and Mychael with a couple on their wedding day

The Two People Filming It

We’ve been the bride and the groom. It changes what you point a camera at.

We’re David and Mychael. Married, based in North Carolina, and we film weddings together. We’ve had our own day run away from us, so we know which parts you’ll want back, and which ones you’d never know happened unless somebody was standing there to capture it.

We’re not going to pull you aside to cry by a better wall or hold up the ceremony to get a different angle. We believe your videographer should be the best behaved guest at your wedding. We’re the two at the back of the room, smiling, staying out of it, catching the thing that just happened behind you.

Raleigh Wedding Video FAQ

Questions Raleigh, NC couples ask us.

How much does a wedding videographer cost in Raleigh?

Our packages are $3,500, $5,500 and $7,500. Timeless covers six hours with one filmmaker, Cinematic covers eight hours with two filmmakers and drone, and Luxury covers ten hours with everything we offer. Prices around Raleigh range widely; the difference is usually the cameras, the audio, and whether one person or two show up.

Is it worth hiring a videographer for our wedding?

Photos show what the day looked like. A film gives you back the vows in your own voices, the toasts, and your grandparents on the dance floor. Most of our couples booked a photographer first and added video once they realised that.

How do we choose a wedding videographer we can trust?

Watch a full film, not just a trailer. Ask who will actually be filming, what cameras they use, how they record audio, and how long they keep your footage. Both of us film every wedding, we shoot on cinema cameras, and we keep every frame permanently.

Can you fly a drone at our Raleigh venue?

David is an FAA-certified drone pilot. Parts of the Raleigh area sit inside the controlled airspace around Raleigh-Durham International Airport. We check your venue ahead of time and request authorization where it’s needed. If a venue or the weather rules it out, we’ll tell you before the wedding, not on the day.

How far ahead should we book?

Most of our couples book five to nine months out, and popular Saturdays go first. Send us your date and we’ll tell you straight away if it’s open.

What if we only need a few hours of coverage?

Timeless covers six hours, which is enough for most ceremonies and receptions. If you need more time than that, or less, tell us the plan and we’ll tell you honestly what fits.

Do you film engagement and proposal shoots in Raleigh?

Yes. Mini shoots start at $550 for an hour, with a 1:30 film. Dix Park, the Raleigh Rose Garden and the NC Museum of Art park all work well. Cinematic and Luxury packages include a separate one-hour engagement shoot with its own highlight reel.

When do we get our film?

Your trailer arrives within seven days. The full film follows, and we’ll give you the exact date when you book.

One Question Left

Is your date still open?
